NIGHTLESS NIGHT FISHING EXPERIENCE IN THE ARCTIC CIRCLE OF MIEKOJÄRVI IN TORNE RIVER VALLEY

Experience the nightless night on the Arctic Circle with a fishing  experience to the world’s northernmost natural habitat for zander in lake Miekojärvi. From June 10 to July 20, nights in the Arctic Circle are very bright. Nightless night catches include pike, perch and trout. Trolling and jigging happen on a Sirmet ferry, which holds all the necessary equipment. You can also use your own rods and lures if preferred. The captain and guide of the vessel is a fishing professional. He or she teaches the most important aspects of fishing during the Nightless nights, as well as offering information about fishing the lake and its history.

During storms, we do not travel on the lake, as it is unsafe to move on the water. A fishing permit is required for those aged 18-64 who wish to fish the lake. The fishing permit can be easily obtained from the Eräluvat.fi website.
