BREAM

Bream is available from Lake Miekojärvi during the open water season, but the main fishing seasons are April to June and August to October.

Bream is caught with fyke nets and fishing nets. Bream is delicious smoked and oven-baked. Ground bream is a tasty ingredient in fish patties and fish balls.
